The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) aims to educate young people about prevention of HIV/AIDS. Red Ribbon Club is a voluntary on-campus intervention programme for students in Educational Institutions. It is initiated and supported by the SACS and implemented through multi-sectoral collaboration. The red ribbon symbolizes the fight against AIDS.
RRCs organize and facilitate voluntary blood donation camps, and create peer educators to encourage positive health behaviour. The Government of India started the RRC movement in Educational Institutions.
