About the Department

The Department of Economics is as old as the college itself and has always been actively engaged in imparting quality and value-based education in the field of economics to facilitate students with excellent analytical, managerial and administrative skills. The department boasts of finest quality of faculty, capable of competing and contributing professionally at the national and international levels. Over the years this department has achieved an enviable good name in the region as one of the best in its domain. We aspire to make a mark at the international levels. Another feather has been added to elaborate the stature of our glorious department. Our department has been allotted Research Centre from the prestigious Panjab University w.e.f. September 2024.
