Ph.D. (Economics) Admission

The last date for Submission of Admission form is 31st Jan, 2025.

The interested candidates are required to submit duly filled Ph.D. Admission form along with research proposal at the reception, GGD SD College, Sector 32-C, Chandigarh by hand or send it through registered post and also email the soft copy at [email protected]

The following self-attested documents are required to be submitted along with the application:-

• Qualifying Examination: Ph.D. Entrance Test (held in the past with three year validity/UGC-NET/JRF).
• All DMCs from Matriculation (10th) onwards
• Any Scholarship/Fellowship details
• Copy of Aadhaar Card
• Contact no. and Email Id

The subject understanding/ knowledge and research aptitude of the applicant will be assessed on the basis of interview, presentation (8-10 minutes power point presentation (PPT) and a written research proposal. The candiates are required to submit the research proposal in the broad areas of Economics. However, the research area will only be finalized in consultation with the supervisor after admission. Soft copy of the research proposal is required to be submitted at [email protected] in the following format in not more than 2500-3000 words along with the Ph.D. admission application form latest by 31st Jan, 2025.
