Motivational Session by Successful Entrepreneur and Start-Up Founder The motivational session was organized by Institution Innovation Council, GGDSD College, Sector-32, Chandigarh on 8th Jan, 2021. Dr Navneet Batra, Head Dept of Biotechnology welcomed the speaker and participants to the online session. Mr Rupinder Singh, Founder and Director, Biohouse Solutions Pvt. Ltd Gurugram had delivered a talk on importance of developing entrepreneurial skills in biotech startups. Being himself a successful Entrepreneur and start up founder, he shared his experiences as a student and job seeker. He emphasized on thoughts of self learner and keeps oneself motivated and thirsts for achieving more and more. He told the students about the value of hard work and motivated them to become job giver rather than job seeker. He gave insights from his own life’s experience to inspire students. He also discussed the importance of consistence hard work and to learn from one’s own mistakes. His talk included the reasons of failure in business and talks about concept of cash flow and its importance in start up. His talk also highlighted entrepreneurship opportunities being offered in the field of Biotechnology and entrepreneurial support schemes available for young researchers. The session was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr Navneet Batra, Head, Dept of Biotechnology, GGDSD College, Chandigarh. The online event was attended by around 125 Faculty, students and researchers from the college.
